I'm saying that Butler, Parkes, Potton, Connolly, Kaloczi and Diagne will be here next season. I'd love to see Sheringham stay but a sponsor would need to chip in with his salary. Driver looked good at right back and I've heard he wants to sign and Greenhalgh improved towards the end of the season so he wouldn't be a bad shout. What do you guys think ? Who would you like to see stay and who would you like to see come in ? Not sure about Saunders and Mendy, the latter improved but Saunders was unsettled half way through the season so I wouldn't be surprised to see him depart.
I'm including the management team too, no new deal signed but apparently its only a matter of putting pen to paper.

Butler seemed doubtful about being here next season, when asked by a fan after Saturday's game. I guess as a 'keeper he has a reputation to uphold, and playing in front of a weak defence isn't doing him much good in regards to goals conceded.

Parkes, Diagne, Potton only for me but to be fair I've seen significantly less games this season than most fans. Sheri too if he'll slum it at Hemel on a lesser wage, and Robbo back when Billericay goes tits up.

From my point of view, I don't really care. One thing I've learnt in the few years following the Tudors, is that the team that starts the season rarely finishes it, players come and go at an alarming rate, I think the only player we can really rely on is Jordan Parkes.

I just support whoever is in a red shirt at that particular time.

If I was going to be here, I'd be feeling much the same as Wandsworth......in recent seasons, due to our pre seaon recruitment and revolving door policy, we have started to feel less of a team, more like, whichever 16 players happen to be at the club for any given game will make up the matchday squad.....

I'd keep Parkes and if we could stretch to it without sacrificing the rest of the team then Sheringham as well. For his flaws Connolly has been a long servant and deserves some loyalty. I couldn't give a toss if any of the others left if I'm honest.

Stability has got to be the way to go. Secure the management team, and then sign up as many of the players that were solid enough throughout the season (Parkes, Butler, Potton, Diagne, Connolly,Kaloczi, Spring, Mendy, Saunders, Weiss, McNamara, Ed, Singh and the academy boys). Start with a solid base and improve gradually as we go, instead of massive changes, half of which don't work out and need replacing by September.

Then we need to go out and find three strong additions - a centre back, a striker and a right back. If Ebbsfleet go up I'd think they'd invest in new players so there's a good chance Sheringham, Greenidge and some others would come on the market. I also can't believe Chelmsford will be able to keep their squad together if they are in financial difficulty/don't get their new investors. So there could be quite a few decent players on the market (assuming Billericay don't hoover them all up). Equally we're going to have a lot of local competition from Snorbs (money from cup run and transfer sales plus a manager that has won the league) and possibly Brackley coming over from the conference north and needing "southern" players.

Driver would be good, Greenhalgh was ok but he's not great at shooting, Sheringham or Robbo back would be awesome. What ever happened to Jordan Rose? Gordon didn't do it for me, sounds like Jerry Amoo did well at Kings Langley so he could come in as a squad winger, and if Amaluzor came back I'd be quite excited, not sure we saw the best of him. Lowe or Kambamba in on loan? Robbos old strike partner at Whitehawk, Danny Mills has always looked good. Guess it all comes down to the budget...

Laurie Walker has rejoined Hemel, which I assume means Jamie Butler is on his way. Walker is a much better shot-stopper in my opinion, Butler's distribution is decent and he's a nice lad, but he's not exempt from some criticism for having been part of a very leaky defence.

Welcome back Laurie i think he has been missed for the last two years
Jamie has been OK but too much of a show pony for me
look at how many goals conceded from corners and set pieces in the last two years accepting that Jamie has had some crap in front of him the keeper has to take some responsibilty

I think the teams in the league mean there is room for teams like Hemel to be in with a shout next year. No massive spenders. The signings so far are pretty encouraging and if we can keep it at that level of player plenty will be tipping us for playoffs at least I reckon.
